Academics Kindergarten Section

We feel that a Child is
divinity personified; Psychologists all over are convinced that a child’s
mind is shaped before the age of six. It has to be guided and nurtured in
a very positive and caring environment. We have created a paradise for the
little ones who join the pre-primary classes. A separate wing exclusively
meant to stimulate the young minds in the kindergarten section has been
created.
The recent 3H method is
designed to bring a holistic and co-ordinated development of the Head,
Hand and Heart. We firmly believe that gaining knowledge should be
activity oriented and joyful. The classes in our school have limited
children to ensure individual attention and quality time.
Primary Level
English, Hindi, Maths and
Environmental Science are the main subjects at this level. Children are
given proper training in Art, Music, Dance and Sports. Computer Science is
also introduced at this level.
Concepts are taught through
interactive and practical approach. Emphasis is on activity based
learning.
Middle, Secondary and Senior Secondary
The well-defined CBSE
curriculum is followed with special attention to monitor the progress of
students. Learning with understanding is encouraged and rote learning is
condemned.
Teachers are the backbone
of our school. DSB International
Public School
has a team of highly qualified and dedicated teachers who act as a guide
and mentor. They teach with love, without punishment or coercion.
From time to time experts
conduct Workshops, Seminars and Orientation Programmes for students and
teachers.
Co-Curricular Activities
Various literary and
cultural activities are planned to go along with the academic programme to
provide ample opportunities to the pupils to develop their inherent
talent.
Self Expression leads to
growth and expands awareness. Those who express themselves blossom in
health, beauty and human potential.
Excursion and tour tracks
are a regular feature of our school as they strengthen the relationship
between the teacher and the taught .The child gets first hand, real life
experience, which is very important for his all round development.
Infrastructure
1.
Language Lab
We have a LANGUAGE LAB for
teaching better conversational and communication skills which involve all
four steps of learning i.e., listening, speaking, reading and writing. We
have adequate software to teach foreign languages like English, French,
German etc. as well as mother tongue Hindi and Dev Vani Sanskrit.
2.
Science Lab
Our school has three
separate, well-equipped and spacious labs of PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY AND
BIOLOGY. There is a separate integrated science lab for Middle school
students.

Maths Lab
For better understanding
and learning of the basic concepts of Maths, we have developed a Maths
lab, which is equipped with material specially designed for kids.
4.
Geography and Environment Science Lab
History, Geography are no
longer boring subjects. Geography and Environment Science lab creates
interest in these subjects to enable the students to understand the
concepts in a proper way.
5.
Computer Lab
We have a well-equipped
Computer lab with the latest configuration and updating of the Software is
given top priority. We believe that a child, after learning in the school,
will be fully equipped to deal with any aspect of Computer science.
Sports and games play an
important role in the all round development of a child. They help in
inculcating a healthy sportsman spirit and develop confidence not only for
the games field but also for life. We have multipurpose hall, which will
be utilized for skating, T.T., Indoor Badminton Gymnastic and Taekwondo/
Judo karate etc.
We provide facilities to
train the children in various indoor and outdoor games like Cricket,
Basket ball, Lawn tennis, Foot ball, Handball, Chess, Carrom, Table tennis
etc. by experts and best trained coaches.
Our school has it own
riding ring and well-trained horses along with experienced trainers.
Our school has a modern
standard size swimming pool with a special instructor and lifeguard to
help the students to learn swimming.
A baby pool adjacent to the
swimming pool has been especially designed for the tiny tots of
Kindergarten section.
Yoga provides a positive
dimension to one’s personality and strengthens the individual's aura. In
our school children are trained in yoga to keep themselves mentally,
physically, spiritually, psychologically and morally fit.
The safety of our students
is of utmost importance to us. Therefore a number of safety precautions
are taken for their well being. The medical room is well equipped with
essential facilities and medicines. A full time qualified nurse is
available in the medical room to look after the medical needs of the
students. Necessary facilities are available to provide emergency medical
care/aid at appropriate hospital /clinic.
We believe in safety and
punctuality. A fleet of buses ferry students to school and back. All buses
are equipped with the latest safety equipment and speed regulators.
To ensure safety and
security, trained security guards have been appointed. The whole building
is equipped with the latest safety gadgets like close Circuit Television,
Emergency Alarm, Smoke Detectors and Computerized Fire-Fighting System.
Our school has a
comfortable and spacious hostel equipped with modern facilities. There are
separate boarding facilities for boys and girls. Besides housemothers and
housefathers, trained and experienced teachers and resident counsellors
are entrusted with the responsibility of caring for the students. Able
teachers supervise evening studies; they keep a complete check on class
performance and notebook maintenance. House parents keep an eye on the
needs of the children, their clothes, diet, and personal hygiene.
There is a huge dinning
hall, an excellent piece of architecture, where a thousand heads can dine
together. School meals are carefully supervised and well balanced and
delicious vegetarian food is served. The food is prepared in strict
hygienic conditions under the supervision of an experienced Mess Manager.
The kitchen is fully equipped with modern cooking gadgets and other useful
accessories. A proper watch is kept on each student and also on the
quality of food supplied. Stress is also laid on table manners and
etiquettes.
