Shri Brahm Swarup Brahmchari Ji is the founder and Chairman of Shri Devendra Swarup Brahmchari International Public School. He is an ideal manager, and has excellent leadership qualities and a successful organizer. Shri Brahm Swarup Ji established the school in April 2007 as a mark of respect to his guru. The school can indeed be called a sincere tribute of a disciple to his guru. The school has been expanding and scaling new peaks of excellence since its inception.

The year 2008 was a memorable year as far as the progress of the school and the students were concerned. The school has succeeded in inspiring the students towards education for self development. The curriculum followed by the school consist of the academic schedule as well as creating awareness of Indian culture. The morning assembly begins with the recitation of “Gayatri Mantra”. Other rituals also followed which inspire the students to display their talent and work hard towards the enhancement of their personality.

On 6 July 2008 Yasoda Devi Girls Hostel was inaugurated in the school campus. Shri Brahm Swarup Ji presided over the function and Shri R. K. Dhawan, the congress M.P. was the Chief Guest and reverend Swami Satya Mitra Nand Giri Ji Maharaj was special invitee at the function.

On the Independence Day of the country the students took out March past and organized cultural programmes. The programme was presided over by the President of Rishikesh Municipal Committee Shri Deep Sharma Ji.

In December 2008 the Honorable Shri M. L. Lohia Ji inaugurated the language lab along with Shri Brahm Swarup Brahmchari Ji. On 15 November 2008 Smt. Phool Devi Girls Hostel was also inaugurated by Shri Janardhan Dwivedi Ji. For the physical development of the students the school organized the sports competition under which they were trained in Judo - Karate for self defense, Short put, long race, Yog training etc. Meditation is an integral part of the curriculum in the school. A special emphasis is put on learning Hindi language under this the students are informed about the life history and literary history of famous Hindi writers, poets and dramatists. Through exhibitions on English language Mathematics, Science and Social Studies the students are inspired to take interest in these subjects.

On 23 December the school celebrated its first annual day with great enthusiasm. The founder of the school Shri Brahm Swarup Brahmchari Ji and the other distinguish guests were also present at this occasion. The principal read out the annual report before the guests and the resident students of the school put up a music concert. On 26 January 2008 the first school magazine “Fragrance” was released by the Shri Krishan Sharma Ji and Shri Vinod Bagarwal. This has been one of the remarkable achievements of the school where the students have displayed their creative ability.

To raise the interest of the students in the studies, training in computers, drawing painting and toy making have also been added to the hobby classes. Students are also taken on educational tours. The first such tour was organized to Tehri Dam, Fun Valley, Jai Ram Ashram Krishi Farm, Railway Station and Telegraph office.
