The session of the Vidhyapeeth begins on Guru Purnima as per the vedic rites.

Swarni  :
The Yagyapavit ceremony and singing of the Saraswati Vandana marks the commencement of the new academic session. The students are taught in vedic rituals.

Sanskrit Competition :
Every year in the month of January and February Sanskrit competition is organized on the national level by Vidhyapeeth. On 13 February 2009 the yearly Sanskrit competition was organized in which speeches, recitation of shalokas and poetry took place.
